Our state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment allows for clear, detailed imaging of internal organs, soft tissues and blood flow. Our experienced clinicians interpret those imaging results quickly so you don’t wait days for answers. Because we offer ultrasound services on-site at Medex Urgent Care, you benefit from convenience, speed and continuity of care—all at one location.
Speed and convenience: No separate facility required for your ultrasound.
Comprehensive diagnostics: From abdominal to vascular to musculoskeletal ultrasounds, we cover a broad array of conditions.
Minimally invasive and safe: Ultrasound uses sound waves rather than radiation, making it a safe choice for many patients.
Expert guidance: After your ultrasound we explain the results clearly and discuss next steps so you know what to expect.

By choosing Medex Urgent Care for ultrasound services, you gain several advantages:

Faster diagnosis: Same-day access to imaging helps shorten the path to treatment.

Integrated care: Since our team handles both the scan and interpretation, there is less need for separate appointments.

Cost-effective: Ultrasound at our clinic is typically more affordable than hospital outpatient imaging.

Clear communication: Our clinicians provide explanations of results in terms you can understand.

When you arrive for an ultrasound at Medex Urgent Care, our friendly staff greets you and helps you get settled in a private examination room. A trained ultrasound technologist performs the scan using a handheld transducer over the area of concern. You’ll likely feel light pressure, but there is no discomfort or downtime required. Once the scan is complete, the clinician will review images, discuss findings and recommend any further care or referral if needed.
A detailed consultation to review underlying causes for your joint pain.
The injection is performed under sterile conditions. Some patients receive imaging guidance if needed for accuracy.
You may feel a mild “pressure” or brief discomfort during the injection.
After the injection you’ll rest briefly. Most patients can go home the same day.
Effects vary: corticosteroid injections often provide relief within a few days to a week. Orthobiologics may take longer to act but sometimes provide longer relief.
A sudden injury to a tendon or muscle where you need imaging to rule out tears or fluid accumulation.
A persistent abdominal or pelvic pain where ultrasound can assess organs such as liver, kidneys, gallbladder or uterus/ovaries.
Leg swelling or suspected deep vein thrombosis (DVT) where vascular ultrasound is appropriate.
A palpable lump in the neck or other soft tissue where ultrasound can evaluate structure and guide next steps.
